Design future-proof IT solutions with us as German-speaking SAP Basis Operations Administrator (m/f/d) at our location in Cluj-Napoca.

YOUR TASKS:

Monitor SAP applications, databases and servers andreact to alerts by following defined runbooks.
Handle incidents and service requests in our IT service management tool, in line with agreed service levels.
Escalate to our senior SAP Basis teams when an issue needs expert help.
Do routine operations tasks such as daily system checks, backup checks and job monitoring.
Support standard lifecycle tasks and system maintenance, for example kernel updates, patching, certificate renewals and system refreshes.
Work with automation and AI-supported monitoring tools (e.g. n8n), document your work and help improve our runbooks.
Communicate with customers in German and English and follow security and compliance rules in regulated environments.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Must have:

IT-related studies or comparable practical experience.
Good basic IT knowledge: Linux, Windows Server and networks (TCP/IP, DNS).
A structured way of working and the ability to follow defined procedures carefully.
A service mindset: you care about reliable systems and clear communication with customers and colleagues.
Motivation to learn SAP Basis and new technologies.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift model.
German (B2 or higher) and English (B2)

Nice to have:

First experience in IT operations, service desk or system administration, ideally in 24/7 or shift environments.
First contact with SAP systems and/or databases.
Experience working with a ticket system and ITIL-based processes such as incident and change management.
