YOUR TASKS:

  • Identify, approach, and acquire new customers within the target market
  • Build and develop a sustainable new business pipeline through a structured sales approach
  • Position SAP project business (transformations and implementations) as well as related services (Application Management Services (AMS), optimizations, enhancements, and licensing)
  • Take full ownership of the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and opportunity management to proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure, in close collaboration with internal teams and the SAP industry sales organization
  • Actively leverage and continuously expand an existing network within the German mid-market (Mittelstand)
  • Conduct and lead initial customer meetings with decision-makers and senior management
  • Collaborate closely with delivery and industry teams to develop tailored customer solutions and commercial proposals
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and relevant networking events

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Several years of experience in selling SAP or IT services, ideally within project-based and solution-oriented business
  • Proven track record in acquiring new customers and driving new business growth
  • Strong hunter mentality combined with a high level of self-motivation and results orientation
  • Well-established and resilient network within the German mid-market
  • Solid understanding of SAP project business, transformation initiatives (e.g., S/4HANA), and the consulting business in general
  • Strong closing skills with excellent negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Independent, structured, and highly results-driven way of working
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at B2 level
