You will join our Data Engineering & Consulting team as a Senior Consultant and play a key role in building and developing our data platform capabilities. Data platforms are the foundation that enables our customers in the European mid-market to build sustainable AI initiatives. You will advise customers on the selection, architecture, and implementation of modern data platforms and ensure that they deliver reliable KPIs, reports, and AI applications.

You will work closely with customers and act as a key contact for both business departments and IT. You will translate business requirements into robust platform and analytics solutions, support presales meetings, and provide professional guidance throughout implementation, including working with distributed teams. As an experienced consultant, you will actively share your knowledge with the team and help build platform expertise across the entire organization.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Advise customers on the selection, architecture, and implementation of modern data platforms, working technology-agnostically across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake
  • Design Lakehouse and data warehouse architectures, from data ingestion and integration through to the semantic layer
  • Support migration and consolidation initiatives across different platforms
  • Translate business challenges into robust data models, KPIs, and analytics solutions
  • Ensure data quality, traceability, and governance at both platform and reporting level
  • Provide professional leadership during implementation, including working with distributed teams, and ensure the quality of deliverables
  • Build platform expertise within the team through mentoring and knowledge sharing (without disciplinary responsibility)
  • Support presales activities: solution design, effort estimation, and customer presentations
  • Help shape our data platform and analytics portfolio – from proposal development to productization
  • Work closely with the AI Consulting and AI Engineering teams to turn data platforms into productive AI solutions

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Several years of experience in consulting or projects related to data platforms, data warehousing, or analytics
  • Solid practical experience with at least one modern data platform: Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake
  • Very good knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and data modeling, including dimensional modeling and semantic layers
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Confident appearance when interacting with customers, including at decision-making level, and the ability to independently clarify requirements with business departments and IT
  • Enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting the professional development of colleagues
  • German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at B2 level
